CIR students and faculty joined Yangyang Cheng, Research Scholar in Law and Fellow at Yale Law School’s Paul Tsai China Center, last Friday for a conversation on US-China relations and the role of technological development in shaping both domestic and foreign policy. Cheng, a 2025 Pritzker Fellow at UChicago’s Institute of Politics, shared her insights and expertise on these topics over lunch. The session was moderated by CIR Assistant Instructional Professor Adam Parker, who will be teaching a course on Governing Technological Change (INRE 43800) in winter 2026.
