PhD Clinic

Every year, the Committee on International Relations (CIR) hosts a nine-month workshop led by a CIR professor to help CIR students and recent graduates prepare their applications to PhD programs. Held virtually to allow participation for those who have left Chicago, the CIR professor will break down the “hidden curriculum” around PhD applications. Additionally, those participating in the PhD Clinic will workshop their application materials with a small group of peers.

An email inviting CIR students and graduates to the PhD clinic is sent in the spring.
