SUPPORT CIR
CIR students benefit from the generosity of alumni, benefactors, and the broader CIR community. From informal lunches with leading policy experts, to alumni in residence giving career guidance, to fully-funded research and career treks to Taiwan and Washington, DC, much of what we do depends on support from beyond the university. This support comes in many forms. Please consider how you might help by donating or getting involved.
Gifts of any size have an impact, directly supporting our faculty, students, and programs. The CIR program benefits from annual unrestricted gifts to the Dean’s Fund for the Social Sciences as well as from specific contributions directed toward a particular interest. You can support CIR through donations of cash, gifts of securities, by taking advantage of your employer’s matching gifts program, or through a planned gift.
If you have questions about how philanthropy supports the Social Sciences at Chicago, or where to direct a specific gift, please contact:

Involvement from CIR’s alumni and professional networks helps make CIR a complete experience, allowing our students to move beyond the classroom in their learning and professionalization. Much of this involvement happens on our annual research and professional treks to Taiwan and Washington, DC, as well as right here in Chicago, but we value creative ideas for engaging with our students from across the globe.
If you would like to discuss opportunities to get involved with CIR, please contact Associate Director Matthew Nanes.
