Dr. Kara Ann Hooser Named Pedagogy Fellow by Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning
We are pleased to announce that Kara Ann Hooser, Assistant Instructional Professor in the Committee on International Relations, has been selected to join the Pedagogy Fellows Program (PFP) at the Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning (CCTL). The PFP supports faculty and instructors at University of Chicago in developing, extending, and revising core teaching competencies through a cohort-based program of practice-oriented workshops, peer-to-peer discussion, classroom observation, and formative feedback.
During her fellowship year, Dr. Hooser will engage in the program’s structured sequence of workshops and contribute to the community of practice that draws pedagogical insight from both research literature and instructor experience. To learn more about the PFP, visit their website here.
Please join us in congratulating Kara on this achievement. We look forward to the innovative teaching work she will bring to our program's community.
