CIR Faculty Lecture and Dinner in DC
Professor Paul Staniland presents "Rising India in a Rising Asia"
For the past few years, the Committee on International Relations (CIR) has hosted an annual Faculty Lecture and Dinner in D.C. in April. This year, we invite you to join us in 2019 at the National Press Club. Paul Staniland has served as CIR faculty chair since 2017. He is the author of the award-winning book Networks of Rebellion: Explaining Insurgent Cohesion and Collapse (Cornell University Press, 2014). His current research focuses on the "armed politics" in southern Asia and the domestic politics of Indian foreign policy. He tweets @pstanpolitics.
Take this opportunity to debate Professor Staniland's assessment of the past and future trajectory of India's foreign policy in the 21st century with him and among fellow CIR alumni. Please register by Friday, April 5, 2019.
