Choosing the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago was one of the best decisions I made. Combined with its reputation as a top-tier M.A. program, the diversity of students' ethnicity and background and strong tradition of analysis and writing, there is no other program like it. Rigorous coursework challenged not just part of students' skills, but the whole being by strengthening students' grasp of theoretical concepts in International Relations, bolstering engagement in the local Chicago area and greater IR community and providing the foundations for networking with future employers. The skills sharpened at CIR provided me with the tools need to embark in a career in international development of renewable energy, supporting U.S. renewable energy development in widening the diversity of energy portfolios and working with 300 of the top organizations in the RE industry at the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE).
