Shelly L. Robinson is the director of career services and senior program development officer for the MA programs in Social Science, International Relations, and Computation Science. She has over ten years in career development and higher education administration with Purdue University (Northwest), DeVry, and the Keller Graduate School of Management. Additionally, her past experience includes over ten years in human resources, recruitment, and operations management with companies such as Enterprise Holdings, Vanguard Services, and WZVN Radio. She is a former president of the Career Development Professionals of Indiana and remains involved in a variety of career-related organizations like the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
She holds a BA and MA in Communication from Purdue University, where is is currently completing her PhD in Organizational Communication with an emphasis in Careers, Multiculturalism, and Learning Design. Mimi Smiley is the faculty and student services coordinator for the program. She holds a BA from Chicago State University and is currently completing her MA is Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. Tekeisha performs back-office administrator duties in support of the day-to-day operations for MAPSS, CIR & Geography. She holds an MS degree from Benedictine University and a BA from Robert Morris University. She coordinates account management, payroll, billing, procurement and reimbursements, as well as assisting with event preparation and vendor management. She also handles campus day reimbursements & social event reimbursements.
